bird&bough was born from a desire to create for the designer herself. As a graphic designer by trade Melissa created things for others on a daily basis, and as much as she loved it, felt the urge to do something for herself!With a fascination for natural history and curiosities, she enjoys creating jewellery pieces with the use of earthy materials such as cinnabar, bone, agate, semiprecious stones and wood as well as reclaimed treasures and coins.
